Yeah I know. There's a weed joke in the title somewhere. Moving on.
That episode was freaking amazing. That twist annoys me though. I thought we finally had answers, that there was finally a concrete thing we could go on. I had no idea that Spencer had a previous drug problem. Was there evidence of that in a previous season? I'm wondering, because I have no memory of it. Maybe it happened before I watched the show.
So plot twist. Major plot twist. When he first said it, I thought he was lying and trying to cover himself, but then I read THIS interview taken by E! News, and according to Oliver and Marlene, he isn't A. That's his actual story, which explains everything. Except the overly stalkerish mode he went into when he was doing his "research", if you can call it that. There's no way he had to go to that extreme point in order to get everything he needed. Interviewing them was apparently not an idea he had. I'm not even quite clear about what crime she committed, he wasn't speaking too clearly at that point because Aria was freaking out. Something about her stealing some papers? I don't know. I really want to read that manuscript though. I wish they didn't drop it off that ski lift thing they were riding. What was that, anyways? Who skis in Pennsylvania? So that relationship went up in flames. Again. It seems to be impressively fire retardant.
Then we have Spence and her drug issue. I do believe that A was the one who put Wren's prescription pad in her purse, but only because I saw A playing with them. None of the other girls saw that. They also apparently never saw last week's episode, which is strange, because I figured they would have some recollection of it. Then again, it was just a dream Spencer had in her kitchen late at night. It just made her look more like a speed freak, as Hanna would say. We all know she gets her pills by pretending to be her mom anyways. I'm just glad they got her off those things, because it was starting to become a real issue. It did undermine her credibility, and it makes me wonder if Ezra was actually concerned about her, since he isn't actually A. It messes that aspect up too.
So what was up with that weird blonde chick at the zoo? If it wasn't Spencer, which it ever so obviously wasn't, then who was it? Ali looking to make a quick break with the money makes the most sense, but it could have honestly been anyone. She definitely didn't get what she wanted, considering Emily took the money off the display before she could take it. I'm also pretty sure those kids in front of the snake display when Hanna and Emily walked in were Marlene's kids. I can't find a picture for the life of me, but it was. Trust me.
