THE FOSTERS RECAP: Christmas Past 2x11

So that episode was just.... ah. Feelings. Can they just not? I had all these images in my head of a happy Fosters Christmas and everyone just started fighting with everyone and it was not a fun time. I thought it was going to be cute; decorating the tree and opening presents and Christmas dinner. We got all of those things, but in a much more dramatic way than I would have liked. None of these people can be happy for more than 4 hours at a time.

Let's start with the beginning, because I was already yelling at the TV within the first 30 seconds of the episode. WHAT was Callie thinking? She can't just kiss him and say she loves him when she knows perfectly well how emotional he is about all that stuff. She was so negative about being adopted too, and I wanna say it's going to go through without a hitch, but that never happens on this show. I do not approve of her running back to him one bit, because I know it was only because she was feeling upset about what Sophia did to those papers, and that she didn't actually want him back, because later when she goes to see where he went she seems able to control herself a little bit. I know that this is wrong, and I'm glad he had enough self-control to stop himself, because I know if it had been earlier, he wouldn't have been able to.

The twins both had a pretty uneventful run this episode, considering all they really did was decorate the front of the house to no end, and even then in the episode it shows none of Mariana's involvement apart from the contract she made with Jesus about helping with the decorating. Those decorations were really great though, and I can tell the set decorators/Jesus put a lot of effort into it. The scene they did with Mr. Nesbit, the grumpy old man, at the end when Jesus took the sign out of the lawn was really sweet in my opinion, that he would do that after all the effort he put into those decorations. It was cute, and a sweet addition to the show.

Back to Callie. That present she got at the beginning for being a foster child was so depressing, especially since they treat her like their own already. It was just a sting. I'm glad she decided to donate the present though, since Lord knows she probably doesn't need it. Speaking of those presents, the ones that Mariana and Jesus got were so cute. I want one of those so bad, they were adorable. I thought it was really sweet that Wyatt made something for Callie, it was really beautiful.

Before I watched the episode, I found a sneak peek on Facebook, so I watched it. It was the scene when Stef and Lena were arguing in the kitchen over the expensive presents Stef's mother had bought for the kids, and they start talking about Lena's half brother Nathan and how he doesn't count as a real sibling because half siblings aren't the same as regular ones, and Jude catches the last part. When I first watched it, I didn't realize why that was supposed to be shocking for anyone, because I somehow forgot about their little father situation, and then I couldn't stop going on about it for 20 minutes after I figured it out, which was halfway through the clip. That was just... ahhh. Not a good situation for anyone. I felt so bad for the poor boy, and I know that Lena didn't mean that, she was just saying it because of her own personal feelings. The poor boy took it out of context, and that's really what made it hurt. I'm glad that Lena fixed it, as I knew she would, and I'm happier that she called Nathan at the end and said Merry Christmas. I don't know if that storyline will be explored, probably not, but it was still a sweet gesture.

The whole half sibling thing kind of ties into the whole stealing the bracelet thing. I knew as soon as he picked that stupid bracelet up at the store that he was going to steal it, and I was not pleased. BUT I was super pleased when he went back to the store and gave it back, and then the lady sold it to him anyways for being honest about it. That was super sweet. And the look on her face when she opened it was even better.

Then you have Daphne, who decided it was a good idea to stalk her daughter when she obviously wasn't allowed to be doing that, and then kidnap her from the park and take her to the burger joint. Thank the Lord she managed to get her back without getting in trouble, but she seriously cannot do that. Honestly, I know she wants Tasha back, but if those people want to adopt her, they have every right to. But you'd think they'd let Daphne see her before they let her be adopted by that family. It's the least they could do, because they wouldn't even have Tasha if it weren't for Daphne. I really couldn't care less about the legal stuff involved with that, you should let the girl visit her daughter.

Now it is time for the dinner party fiasco of the century. Everyone and their grandma (literally) had issues. Well, not everyone. Just Stef and Sharon. And Lena. This whole thing was just a mess and a half. It was super cute at the beginning, with the adorning of reindeer ears and funky bowties, and then it turned into a shitstorm.

Then there's the 30 second ending of the ambulance pulling up at the Quinn house. I'm worried about Sophia. I got so scared when she locked herself in the bathroom at the end of Someone's Little Sister. I was worried she was going to shave her head or cut herself or something, but if I know anything about this show, it's that someone completely random, or even relevant but not Sophia, got hurt at the party in the backyard. They're going to make us think it was her when it really wasn't, but it may be. I just want to find out what happened to the poor girl.

THE FOSTERS RECAP: Things Unknown 2x01

Let's start with Brandon. My poor baby got beat up by that asshole Vico and his dumbass friends. I hate Vico more and more with each thing he does, but hopefully the only time he'll be in the show now are flashbacks. I cannot believe him. Why in the freaking world did he do that??I mean, I know he was angry and everything, but dude, really? How immature. And Brandon's hand, oh my gosh. I was all optimistic when the doctor said that he could play the piano again, but then he made me sad when he wouldn't try because he was afraid, and then he started crying about it with Mike, and I almost cried.

All I want is the feeling in his hand to come back, and for him to be able to play again. From what I've heard, apparently he will be able to, but in a different way, whatever that means. I'm also unhappy with Vico's sentence: two years' probation and military school. All because he miraculously has no record and a rich father who can get him a powerhouse attorney. He should have gone to juvie for that. Lord knows Callie's gone for a lot less. That was completely unfair.

Next, we have my favorite Fosters couple, Jesus and Emma, or as they are so affectionately known, Jemma.

Sneak peek from next week! I'm excited for this episode. It's also a cute picture of them.
They were getting along so well. Jesus went back on his meds, and he apologized, and she accepted, and they kissed and everything was happy go lucky.

Now we move on to Jude. He just gets more adorable with each passing episode. He's literally the only character who's only there to be cute. In times of need and incessant sadness, insert a Jude scene and suddenly everyone is happy. He's the most adorable thing ever, and I hope he never leaves. I also hope Connor comes back soon; I just want to see him go to the batting cages with his dad and Jude. That'll be a cute scene too. Even though there's supposed to be some issues. I guess you can't have it all.

Callie, Callie. My beautiful girl. Life seems to perfectly fine for her, she's going to be adopted, and she has a cute boyfriend and a loving family. And then it all crashes and burns. First, we go to court and find out that Donald isn't actually her biological father. So the judge decides that because Robert Quinn, Callie's birth father who ditched her mother when he found out she was pregnant despite being the father and her husband, never signed her birth certificate, he may not know about her and therefore have unintentionally abandoned her. His final verdict is that until Robert Quinn terminates his should-be-nonexistent parental rights, Callie is not allowed to be adopted until she's 18. It gets more frustrating when this lady shows up:

And decides to make everyone's life more difficult than it should be by telling Stef and Lena that their fostering license is expired, so they aren't legally allowed to foster Callie until they can have it renewed, so she has to take Callie out of the Adams Foster house and into a new house for a couple days. Thankfully, Stef convinces the judge to let Callie come home and everything is well. That's when she makes the decision to go and track down this Robert Quinn man so he can terminate his should-be-nonexistent rights and we can just move on and have everyone be adopted.

Then there's the end scene. Seems pretty normal, right? Callie's with Daffany at Not a Burger Stand, and some guy shows up to pay for some milkshakes. Then they show his face. They wouldn't normally show a random customer's face, because they're not important. So, by default, this guy must be important. If you watch him carefully, you can see him watching Callie closely, and then he leaves an unusually large tip for them. We then follow him out to his car, and there's this girl sitting in the passenger seat.

Well doesn't she look familiar. She kinda looks like one of our resident characters, you know, the one that works at the burger joint. If we assume that that man who bought the milkshakes is Robert Quinn, then we can also assume that this is Callie's half sister. HALF. SISTER. (I mean, Maia and Bailee look so much alike that if they didn't do that angle they'd be stupid.) It also means that Callie and Jude aren't fully related because they have different fathers. Just thought I'd throw that in there for you. I think Callie finds out about her doppelganger next week, and I'm excited to see where that goes.

I'm going to do a combo for Mike, Ana, Dani and Brandon here because this is turning out to be a lot longer than I thought it would be. So let's start with Mike. I know that when he found out about all of Brandon's escapades he was really upset, but that was not an excuse to go get drunk and then go yell at, and potentially beat up, Ana. I'm on Stef's side with her, I really want to know what happened to her. I'm scared Mike messed her up really bad. I know Dani said in the sneak peek that he blacked out and doesn't remember anything, but we have proof he was the one arguing with her, and he had a lot of blood on his knuckles. That kind of blood only gets there if you split them, and you split them by fighting. Speaking of fighting, Dani and Brandon had a big one at the school there. I was incredibly surprised when he accused her of hiding all these secrets from Mike and how she's cheated on him and blah blah whatever. when the only person I remember seeing Dani kiss other than Mike is Brandon.

Really quickly, I'd also like to talk about this picture I found on The Fosters Facebook page.

The caption for this photo is something about their Instagram page, which is why everyone's on their phones, but if we look into the convenient black box that I added, we see Julian de la Celle , the actor that plays Zac, Mariana's boyfriend person. I don't know if this picture is old or whatever, but I'm hoping it's recent, because that means he's going to come back and I'm going to get my adorable Zariana back!

THE FOSTERS RECAP: Kids in The Hall 1x17

So I know I'm majorly late with these, but I've had a really busy week and school has been really blah so. On the bright side, my chemistry teacher hasn't been here for the last two days and the student teacher has been teaching and it's wonderful. Back to the relevant stuff now.

Let's start with Jesus and Emma. Again. Those two crazy kids, always getting themselves in trouble. I don't fully understand why she got so mad at Jesus after the wrestling scene. Of course it got weird for him, she's his friend and he was sitting on top of her. That would be weird for anyone. Granted, he shouldn't have just given up that fast. If he was going to let her win or do whatever it is he did, he needed to do it less obviously. She probably would have figured it out anyways, but whatever. Not important. Jesus is due to break up with Lexi on Monday. Mariana's going to kill him when she finds out. It was his choice, and he has to do what makes him happy, and if Lexi isn't it, then she needs to go. If Emma makes him happy, he needs to be with her.

Chase is a total douchebag, and he needs to leave, permanently. Zac is a dear lord saint in Heaven, and I love the fact that he got over his anger for Mariana and decided to be her friend. That's definitely what she needs right now, after the whole Chase/Kelsey ordeal.

Then we have Dani. Firstly, she's supposed to be sober, and the fact that Brandon caught her at a bar that he was also illegally in is not good. Secondly, she can't under any circumstances blackmail him into keeping it a secret from his dad by saying that she'll keep his secret. He could totally tell them he saw her stumbling out of a bar, and then when she brought up that he snuck in with a fake ID, he could say she was lying... but then he'd break under the pressure and spill the whole damn thing, and we can't have that. Not yet. He isn't quite back in the good books yet. He has to be way over there before any of this comes out, and that means getting his money and avoiding Vico ASAP.

Speaking of Vico, Brandon could totally tell on him if he wanted to. That would also incriminate himself, of course, but maybe lesser since he was being honest? I don't know. Hopefully, if it comes down to that. Maybe he could confess to that, and then tell on Dani the next time everyone was together, and then when she tried to pin him with that, she'd look extremely foolish and childish since they already knew. That could work.

Callie was being really sweet in this episode, taking pictures of other foster kids and hanging out with her friends in a safe and monitored environment. And then she basically convicted Daphne of stealing Kindles and now she won't tell Lena about Brandon being there for some unknown reason. That boy has told everyone everything about you, and you can't do this one thing against him that'll free your friend from jail? Not that she's going to go there, because Brandon makes Vico put them back, but really? The fact that she was morally struggling with telling is so stupid. It was the right thing to do, so she should have done it. It was Vico anyways, so Brandon has nothing to worry about. Not on that front anyways.

I don't think Jude did much of anything in this episode, if he was even in it. I miss him and Connor. They're so cute. They need to get over themselves and move along, because they are the one thing that are always solid in this show when everything else is going to shit.

SWITCHED AT BIRTH RECAP: The Scream 3x06

That was a crazy cool episode. One of the best ones I've seen in a while, considering the season's been boring for a while.

Firstly, let's start with Bay and Tank. I must say, at the beginning of the season when we met him for the first time, I didn't think he would be good as Bay's boyfriend. I loved him as a character, because he's so adorable, but I didn't think he'd make a good boyfriend. They seemed to be too different. Then he made that really sweet confession to her at the end of the episode, and she took him, and I loved it. He might be the best one for her yet.

Now we have some sort of love triangle with Daphne, Campbell and Jorge. I know, I know she likes Campbell a lot better than she does Jorge, so I'm wondering why she's not dating him. Also wondering about Gretchen's jealousy complex, but whatever.  She and Campbell are so adorable, it's not even funny. They just work so well together, plus the fact that she and Jorge are just too different. I just don't see that one working.

Then we have John and Janice kissing. There definitely had to be a more graceful way for her to find out about them, seriously. That end scene when she ended the party early and Toby found out was the best, but she was totally badass when she kicked John out. He has to know that they haven't been as close lately, and he can't expect her to keep him around after he's been so closeminded about her new activities and friends, and now the kiss. He didn't exactly push her off either, so I think he knows; he's just in denial.

The book. Oh the book, and the manuscript that was accidentally left in the office and found by John during the game. That could have been more graceful too. I mean, it is a little weird that she's writing a book about other people's sex lives, but as long as she's changing the names and (potentially) using a pseudonym, we should be fine. I still have no idea why they even think that's a good idea, or why she was telling those stories in the first place, but I am interested to see how this goes. I also want to know if she ever just freaks out at Renzo one day because he keeps pushing her to do stuff she's completely unsure about.

THE FOSTERS RECAP: Us Against the World 1x16

This is probably the most boring Fosters episode I've ever seen. Seriously, nothing happened. The most exciting thing was a tie between Mariana realizing Chase was a major douche and leaving him for Kelsey, and Brandon moving to Mike's and finding out he has a girlfriend.

The only thing I loved were my wonderful Jonnor scenes, and the fact that it was Jude's birthday was wonderful. Those clues were great, and the present was super cute too. I'm glad they've decided they don't have to lie anymore, and realized that these people are their family now.

The scene when she was doing her last Girls United group therapy session ever was probably my favorite part of the whole episode. I still love all the girls to pieces, even Becca. I'm gonna miss them all a lot. There has to be a scene in a future episode where she goes back to visit them. Kiara's always going to be my favorite. Rita also really taught her a bunch of stuff, and I know she's going to carry that with her forever.

Can we deal with the other girls now, please? Okay, Mariana seriously went to some extremes to divert Chase's attention. And I'm not sure how I feel about it. Pretty sure that whole situation is just going to turn out to be a mess.

DRUNK TALYA IS THE WORST TALYA. Hate it, want it to stop. It was bad enough the first time, but now it's just getting old. I'm happy Brandon told her off though, I've been waiting for that one. She just needs to go.

I'm just excited for next week, because Emma is going to kiss Jesus, and I think he's considering breaking up with Lexi because of it, and that makes me happy because I ship Jemma way more than Jexi. They're going to be officially adopted, and the girls are coming to the house! Maybe. I'm just all around excited.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS RECAP: Free Fall 4x20

Yeah I know. There's a weed joke in the title somewhere. Moving on.

That episode was freaking amazing. That twist annoys me though. I thought we finally had answers, that there was finally a concrete thing we could go on. I had no idea that Spencer had a previous drug problem. Was there evidence of that in a previous season? I'm wondering, because I have no memory of it. Maybe it happened before I watched the show.

So plot twist. Major plot twist. When he first said it, I thought he was lying and trying to cover himself, but then I read THIS interview taken by E! News, and according to Oliver and Marlene, he isn't A. That's his actual story, which explains everything. Except the overly stalkerish mode he went into when he was doing his "research", if you can call it that. There's no way he had to go to that extreme point in order to get everything he needed. Interviewing them was apparently not an idea he had. I'm not even quite clear about what crime she committed, he wasn't speaking too clearly at that point because Aria was freaking out. Something about her stealing some papers? I don't know. I really want to read that manuscript though. I wish they didn't drop it off that ski lift thing they were riding. What was that, anyways? Who skis in Pennsylvania? So that relationship went up in flames. Again. It seems to be impressively fire retardant.

Then we have Spence and her drug issue. I do believe that A was the one who put Wren's prescription pad in her purse, but only because I saw A playing with them. None of the other girls saw that. They also apparently never saw last week's episode, which is strange, because I figured they would have some recollection of it. Then again, it was just a dream Spencer had in her kitchen late at night. It just made her look more like a speed freak, as Hanna would say. We all know she gets her pills by pretending to be her mom anyways. I'm just glad they got her off those things, because it was starting to become a real issue. It did undermine her credibility, and it makes me wonder if Ezra was actually concerned about her, since he isn't actually A. It messes that aspect up too.

So what was up with that weird blonde chick at the zoo? If it wasn't Spencer, which it ever so obviously wasn't, then who was it? Ali looking to make a quick break with the money makes the most sense, but it could have honestly been anyone. She definitely didn't get what she wanted, considering Emily took the money off the display before she could take it. I'm also pretty sure those kids in front of the snake display when Hanna and Emily walked in were Marlene's kids. I can't find a picture for the life of me, but it was. Trust me.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS RECAP: Shadow Play 4x19

Oh my god, that episode was amazing! I love that Spencer finally figured that sh*t out, and that Toby helped her. Hanna figuring out where Ali was has to be the best thing she's ever done, and I enjoyed having her on as an almost normal human. Spencer also has a small drug issue, and we need to resolve that.

First of all, I would just like to say that Keegan looked so natural in the whole film noir, 1940s style show with dated dialogue and the costumes it isn't even funny. It looks like he could have actually acted in that time period. He was so good! The girls were good too, with the voices and everything.

Let's talk about Paily shall we?

So that happened. Yeah. Basically, Spencer hallucinated Paily sex. If you can call it that. I'd call it heavy making out, but according to Tumblr, they had sex. They had some interesting and random developments in this episode. First, I thought Paige was at Stanford, and I thought they had broken up, so none of this made any sense. This episode shouldn't have changed any of that. I was never a Paily shipper myself. Paige annoys me, and I never really ship Emily with anyone.

Hanna was brilliant. Loved her all the way through, still confused about this mysterious job she suddenly had. I know you can't be a switchboard worker in present day, but I didn't think they were going to spontaneously add a new aspect to her life. It was cool though. And then when they went to the club and found Ali backstage, I died. It was fabulous. The b*tchiness was on overload, but that's my favorite Ali, because it's the most genuine version. It really brings them together as a friend group when they have to fight her off together. The smooth getaway from Mona and Ezra at his apartment was wonderful. Those books must be working, because she is getting way better at this.

Aria though. Come on, girl. This is ridiculous. That end scene when she heard Ezra's voice and then walked towards it even though Spencer told her not to trust it, and everything that happened after made it clear as day as to what was going on. I had faith that she was going to figure it out, and then she opened her mouth when they were in the car and asked a stupid question.

Spencer has a drug issue, and we need to deal. The only proof you need is how freaked she got when she dumped her pills down the garbage disposal by accident and stuck her hand down there to get them back. The shot kept flickering to the on switch and I got so freaked Ali was going to flip it and shred her hand. She needs rehab ASAP, but only after she finally figures out what the hell is going on exactly. Toby encouraging Spencer instead of telling her to stop was great, the yelling in the weird random interrogation room and the car was not necessary. She's way too stressed because of those damn pills, and as soon as she gets off them, she'll be fine.

So overall, the whole B&W theme was great, and I hope they do something like that again. That would be great. Thoughts, comments, theories, down below please!

THE FOSTERS RECAP: Padre 1x15

Wow. I really hope everyone had their tissues for that one. That was quite the tear jerker, especially for Callie. Why was she the one crying the most out of everyone? She didn’t even know Frank that well. That Jesus/Emma/Lexi call was awkward, and that music they played when she left was even more awkward. Those Jude/Callie flashbacks were really something, though. I love that we got to see those. I’m happy Brandon and Callie confronted their issues, and I’m beyond ecstatic and excited that Callie is going to come home.

So let’s mix it up and not start with the big event of the week, shall we? Let’s talk about Jesus and Emma, and more importantly, Jesus, Emma and Lexi. Lexi totally thought Emma was going to be ugly. Pretty girls don’t wrestle, right? Wrong. She’s definitely going to show up in the next few episodes to haunt Jesus about her. Also, could we not have found a poor chair for the girl? She was kneeling on the floor, for God’s sake. I want to say she could have sat in the chair, but that would have made answering the video call more awkward if she was directly in front of the camera and Jesus was nowhere to be seen instead of the other way around. They were super cute tonight though, and I know Mariana is going to report to Lexi about the goings-on between them. She’s definitely suspicious too. Who wouldn’t be? Lexi is all the way in Honduras, never to return unless she can get into an American school and get a visa so she can enter the country legally. Emma’s a nice girl, a pretty girl, a sweet girl. She’s girly enough to maintain herself properly, but she keeps Jesus in check and teases him adequately. I was on the fence before the doorstep scene tonight, but I know now that she likes him, like, a lot. The awkward Jesus music proved it. I hope that one works itself out. As much as he probably wants to, he can’t wait for Lexi forever.

So that beginning was intensely confusing, because for a second, I thought Frank was alive and everything was good, and that someone else had died. Then I remembered no one else had died, and I was back to being confused. Until it randomly started snowing; then I knew it was a dream or something. That reception was definitely unique, starring the almost-convicted cop, the almost-pregnant lesbian, and the almost-adopted Jude. No one is really definitive in who they are right now. HE CALLED HER MOM. I swear, the first time I watched that clip on Facebook, I nearly cried. Then I watched a bunch of other times, and then tonight and I almost cried all of those times too. It was so cute. I love him for taking that step. Now he has to call Stef mom, because he still calls her Stef.

Then we have Connor and the stupid Ouija board. I know he moved it to YES, and I know that was the right thing to do, but I have a really weird paranoia where Jude is going to do it again right before they sign the papers or something and it’s gonna move to NO and then he’s gonna freak and back out. Like, I’m freaking about this thing that probably isn’t even going to happen and I have no idea why.

That chat that Lena and her mom had where she finally told her how she felt about her constant “candor” was great. So was the chat between Callie and Stef after she lost the necklace. My heart melted.

© thefostersforever on Instagram

It also melted when Callie and Mariana had their little scene in the kitchen with the deviled eggs. I missed their sisterly bonding times.

Mariana's logic makes no sense.
©fostersposts on Instagram

It seems like that was the first time Callie smiled in a long time, and that makes me happy. She deserves to have happiness again after all the stuff she put herself through. You could tell Stef and Lena were being really cautious with her, and I can’t really word why I think that properly. I think it was probably because they didn’t know if she wanted to be there, but she obviously did. I don’t know how to say it, and I know that’s because I’m not sure myself why they were behaving that way.

Brandon and Callie’s relationship development was great in that episode. I love that he realized the relationship they had was only going to work if Callie gave up everything she cared about. I love that she didn’t lose that necklace and that both of them realized this truly wasn’t going to work, whether she got adopted or not. Although she is now, or I assume so. That is what “coming home” means, right?

Those Jude/Callie flashbacks were amazing. I loved that we got to learn something about them, considering we know a lot about everyone else but not them. They amazed me, but my favorite one (or two) was when she walked in on Jude standing in her ruined room, and then when she realized at the end that she was actually the one who smashed it. She must have blocked that out and replaced it with something else, and then when Jude told Callie it was her and not him who smashed it, it unlocked or something. Those were cool to see.

What do you think is going to happen next week? Do you think Mariana is going to something she shouldn’t with Chase so he’ll stop paying attention to Kelsey and start paying attention to her? Do you think that Jesus and Emma are going to kiss? I think Brandon tells Talya that he and Callie were dating, and that he loves her. That’ll be fun. Maybe she’ll revert back to b*tch Talya.

RAVENSWOOD RECAP: SEASON FINALE My Haunted Heart 1x10

OH MY GOD HOLY SH*T. My reaction to that finale. That creepiness factor was on overload and it was ridiculous. I loved it, especially the end. So many things happened. Dillon's a b*tch, and now he's a dead b*tch and I'm happy about it. Max is a bigger evil than I thought she was, being a little girl and all, and I can't believe Spider Lady was Abbadon all along, but I do want to know who she actually is. I cannot believe he had the gall to kidnap Remy because she found proof he killed Mr. Matheson. I can't believe he did that at all! He was literally the last suspect I had.

So let's start with Dillon. That little b*tch, I cannot BELIEVE him. That was ridiculous. I can't believe he did that! He stooped so low it's not even funny. Like, I know he sacrificed Olivia so he could live, but I never thought he was going to be the one to kill their father! I just, I don't even know what to say. I'm still in shock here. Who would have thought that he would do that? He was literally the last suspect, even though I never liked him anyways. He always creeped me out, and I never got a good vibe from him. Then when I found out he was working for Max, or with Max, or whatever, I knew I was right. I knew he was in some deep creepy sh*t. He kidnapped Remy too, and I was not pleased. Not at all. You cannot just kidnap someone because they can commit you for murder. Especially when you rightfully did it, and it's been blamed on the wrong person this whole time. You had to go, and you knew it was time. And then he died and I was so happy. I was with Olivia when she said she wanted to find him and kill him. She scared me a little in that scene. How did he not notice that Max was in front of him when he was running? And then he tripped on those train tracks, and the train was coming... I knew that was the end for him. I was pleased, for sure. He needed to go.

So Spider Lady needs a proper name, and a proper backstory. There has to be a reason why Abbadon chose to "possess" her or whatever. I don't think you can possess a ghost, but I have no idea what to call it. Manifest? I want to know why he chose to manifest as her. She clearly plays some sort of role, important or not, in the whole plot line of the story, and I want to know what it is. I also want to know why Abbadon is so obsessed with fulfilling this pact thing. Seriously, what kind of demon god does he worship? What does it represent, what does it mean, what are the side effects... So many questions. I have a feeling past Caleb knows some of this stuff since he's from that time period. It makes sense, right? Town mutterings and all that stuff. Someone has to know something, and I want to know it.

Collins turned out to be a better character than I thought he would. I honestly had no idea how to feel about him, but then when he ran into the church to confront Abbadon, I was actually pleasantly surprised. I'm happy he isn't evil, because we have enough problems. I want to know what he knows, too. So many people know things, and I want to know them all. What does he have to do with the pact? When Remy had that dream flashback thing, I got the impression that the Collins family was on Abbadon's side, but maybe I was wrong. Maybe they were working on the inside to stop this craziness. Or maybe they're trying to make sure it continues as planned with no unnecessary issues or deaths. The hair cutting thing still makes no sense. I think it's to preserve the soul so it can't escape, but I'm not sure. What is it escaping from, exactly? Eternal rest? I'm pretty sure the whole concept of ghosts is that they come back because they have unfinished business. Bea has that obviously, with Grunwald and everything, but not every spirit can have that. Or can they? I don't know, I'm not a ghost expert (or a ghost). I think it varies from person to person.

My hearts breaks for Luke and Olivia. It really does. I jumped when she screamed. I almost cried during that scene watching her cry. I'm getting goosebumps right now thinking about it. No one should have to watch anyone they love get murdered, no matter how much they want to know who did it. Ryan should have shown them something else, although I don't actually regret seeing it. I feel like maybe it was necessary for them to see, just so they could definitively know, but still. It was harsh. I really, really love Luke and how much he and Olivia love each other. If she had done that without him and just Remy, it would have been a lot more different than the way it went. She probably would have fainted and been in shock. I mean, Remy didn't watch either, but it's a lot more traumatic for Olivia, obviously.

My heart breaks just looking at this

I just love them so much, and she screamed and Luke grabbed her to shield her as if something was physically coming to get her, I felt a strange sense of overwhelming love, strange only because of the source. And then their mom... She has to get off. They have to prove that Dillon did it. Did they even scan that stupid knife for fingerprints? If they had, they would have found Dillon's, plus the book fingerprint, it would have been perfect. I do hope they already have Mr. Matheson's DNA already on file though, because I don't want them to have to dig him up so they can get a blood sample. If he even has blood left. He has been dead for a while.

I love that original Caleb is back! It's a miracle. I'm happy he's here because he can tell us about stuff now, but I'm scared Miranda is going to turn her affections to the Caleb she can actually have, and then they're going to like bring back original Miranda and original Caleb is going to fall for her instead, and then present Miranda is going to be heart broken all over again. I don't know if I want to watch that happen to her. That would majorly suck and add to the bad stuff in her life that's already on overload.

Last but not least, we have our good friend Hanna Marin. Oh lovely Hanna, what the hell are you doing in Ravenswood? Did we not especially tell you to stay the hell away? Why oh why can you not listen to dear old Caleb? He was trying to keep you safe, after all. And then you get here, and find out Miranda is dead, and that she's a ghost, and you think your dear old ex-boyfriend here is insane. Yeah, he's telling the truth, honey. I'm just happy she got out before the whole church thing, because they would have had some major explaining to do after that. The kiss though, kinda weird. I know they still love each other and everything, but I'm pretty sure their relationship has run its full course, and shall never be picked up again. Caleb's little journey has made him realize what an ill match they were in the first place, especially now that he has a crush on a ghost. Well, at least Hanna knows he didn't cheat on her, right? That's something. Probably the only good thing that came out of this whole damn episode.

Okay, so that's it. Comment down below and tell me what you think is going to happen next! What's up with the hair? What's up with Collins? What's up with original Caleb? I hope they get renewed for another season! I need to know what happens!

THE FOSTERS RECAP: Family Day 1x14

Oh my gosh all the things. The Brallie/Ballie things (whatever you call it, I’m a Brallie person) and the Girls United things (did you see the webisodes? We can discuss that later) and JUDE, oh my gosh Jude. He’s the best kid ever. And the “Jesus time” was probably my favorite Fosters joke ever. Then there’s the potential for Jesus/Emma/Lexi issues, and the pregnancy thing. AND ADOPTION AND FAMILY DAY. We have a lot to discuss, my friends.

Okay, so we shall start this off with Brallie. The big one, the major. They were absolutely adorable. Daphne letting them use her place to meet was really nice, and Kiara being super protective over Callie was sweet too. I’m glad she still likes her considering that Callie hasn’t really been behaving herself as of late. That girl needs to get her sh*t together. The serenading was the best. That was so adorable. I totally and completely hope that the ILP thing works out, because then everyone will be happy and it’ll fix everything. Callie can be by herself, Jude can get adopted, and Brallie can be a thing. Everyone will be good, including the state of California.

Girls United webisodes are probably like the best idea ever. Those things are amazing. You can watch them HERE on YouTube if you live in the US, or HERE on the ABC Spark website if you live in Canada. There are 5 of them, and they’re all so cool. Somehow, they gave me the same feeling that I get after watching an episode of The Fosters, that same anxious feeling where I need to know more and I need to know now. Thankfully, you can now. They have all 5 of them up, so you can marathon them. The longest one is 5 minutes, and they’re great supplementary stuff. You learn a lot about the girls, stuff you never thought they had. I mean, we learned their criminal record, but not their personal baggage that made them get a criminal record. I’m not going to spoil it all for you here, so you’re going to have to go watch them. They’re really good.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Jude is my favorite character, by far. You just can’t hate the kid, it’s impossible. He’s too cute and vulnerable. I love that he’s getting used to the Foster house and that he called it his room and threw stuff at Jesus like they were real brothers!!!

© The Fosters Facebook Page

Jesus time, by the way, is the best joke he’s ever made. He’s 12, how does he know that stuff? It made me laugh so hard, especially the look on his face. Jesus’ face, though, that was the priceless one. Oh God, he was mortified, and there wasn’t even anything to be mortified about.

They have to adopt Jude, it must happen. I think he’s sick and tired of Callie getting in the way of his life and a little bit of his happiness, and I’m happy he finally took charge on that and told her he was going to be adopted, whether she went with him or not. Obviously she isn’t, because of Brandon, but standing up to her was good. Callie will most likely not get adopted, but Jude certainly will. They have to hurry up and finish this paperwork, it’s making me nervous.

Someone needs to figure out Jesus and Emma before things get complicated. I do not need a love triangle here, because Lexi has the unfair advantage of living in Honduras. So firstly, can we talk about how “Jesus time” was supposed to be for him and Lexi, or just for him? It was not supposed to involve Emma at all. Although I do like their relationship, the whole mistakenly sent text thing is weird, and the fact that he needed private time to video chat with her is weird. Let Jude in the room to at least get his homework. There shouldn’t been anything going on there anyways, so what’s the big deal? And there’s the sexting with Lexi. Not a good idea. Something is going to go wrong there, I know it. Emma’s gonna see them, or someone is going to send them somewhere, and everything is going to be ruined. I just know it isn’t a good idea for them to be doing those kinds of things, especially when he has to be such a tool to do it. Yeah, so I think Emma makes a good friend for him, and I’m still not sure about Lexi. I never really liked her in the first place, but this was pushing it to a new level.

I think that Lena probably should have talked to Stef about the whole pregnancy thing before she ordered those prenatal vitamins. That’s a huge thing to be taking on, and she can’t just decide to bring another human into the world without consulting her first, especially at this point. Having 6 kids might get a little hectic. She really has to think about the ripple effects of what’s going to happen when they have 8 people living in their house. As is, they barely fit. Brandon’s going to have to share a room with the baby or something. Stef also gets to have a say in whether they have a baby or not, since they are married. That’s generally not how you go about having a child when you’re married. You don’t forget the other person and just do what you want. You can’t do that with anything in that situation, but more so in this type of situation. I know she probably wants to have a baby because Stef has her biological child, and all Lena’s ever had are adopted kids.

And so, Family Day. It’s probably one of my favorite things to happen to Callie, or ever. From Gabi asking about Jesus to Mariana making extremely privileged kid conversation with the girls to Brandon and Callie having their little chat in the kitchen, it was perfect. I’m so happy Callie’s happy, and Jude’s happy, and everyone’s good. Except for Stef, considering that’s when they found out about the ILP. I’m actually glad Brandon truthfully didn’t know about it, because they might have taken it away from her if he did. They’d think it was a scheme so she could date him, and that’s part of the whole reason she even landed herself in that home in the first place. So yeah, everyone’s good. But does anyone think that Gabi and Jesus would be really cute together? I think it’s the lip ring.

Comment and tell me about your thoughts for next week, I want to know what you think is going to happen!

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS RECAP: Bite Your Tongue 4x17

Sh*t went down this week. All of the things happened. We figured out who Board Shorts was, Spencer took drugs from Andrew, Aria confronted Maggie, Mike and Mona started being a “thing” and Hanna read a book or two.

Let’s start with the major shocker here. Board Shorts. I knew Ezra was involved in Ali’s life and disappearance somehow, but I never thought he was Board Shorts. I totally thought it was one of Ali’s mysterious older friends from Cape May, given their nickname because they liked to wear board shorts. Who names a beer “Board Shorts Ale”, and who drinks it with boysenberry pie? That sounds gross, and I’m totally going to knock it before I try it. Thanks, but no thanks. The beer thing was a good trick, though. I don’t think anyone would have guessed it was the name of a beer when we originally found out about Board Shorts. It was definitely mysterious, and only the wildest guess possible would have gotten it. It sounds like a Hanna guess. I also didn’t know Ezra was a big beer drinker, although he does live in Hollis, and that is the college town. (Or the college part of the town. I always get confused as to where that is.) So yeah, Board Shorts Ale was definitely something out of left field, and I love it.

Can we also talk about how weird Ali and Ezra are? I mean, Aria and Ezra are still kind of weird to me, considering the age difference. Whenever I see or think about that flashback, I always think 16 year old Ali with present day Ezra, not the Ezra it would have been when she was 16. I don’t even remember how old he actually is at this point. (According to the PLL wikia page, he’s 25. So imagine 16 y/o Ali with 25 y/o Ezra. 9 year age difference with a minor. Ew.) So adjusting for the age difference and the amount of time that has passed, he would have been early 20s-ish when they did whatever it was they did. I don’t know what to call it. Did they date, or just have a thing? Or was it just a close relationship? They did kiss, so maybe it was a thing? Ali seems to be equally as confusing, if not more, being dead as when she was alive.

And the drugs, oh the drugs. I had no idea Andrew took drugs to do all the stuff he did. I just thought he was like 7th grade Spencer who managed to play field hockey on the JV team and still maintain a perfect grade average. Drugs never came into play there, although the workload isn’t very much when you’re 12. It’s definitely more now that they’re all seniors in high school. I’m pretty sure Andrew should have known something was up when Spencer invited him over, considering he’s been gone down the rabbit hole so long I forgot who he was when he showed up on the screen. I’m also sure that Andrew giving Spencer prescription drugs without her having a prescription is illegal, and that they can both be criminally charged for it. So they both better make sure Hanna’s new friend Officer Holbrook doesn’t find out. (I almost forgot who he was too. I thought he was Noel for a second for some reason.) I assume that’ll be the least of anyone’s problems anyways. We do still have 2 murder investigations going, remember? This is not going to turn out well, but it’ll be cool for the film-noir edition of PLL they’re airing in 2 weeks. That should be very interesting to see how they keep up the plot in 1940s film style and dated dialogue.

Aria and Maggie was a short thing, but a fun thing. I’m glad Aria finally confronted Maggie about all the sh*t she messed up when she showed up in Rosewood. I just wish she hadn’t broken Malcolm’s picture. I know it was an accident, but that was pushing it for sure. I’m wondering if Maggie confronted Ezra about his “psycho girlfriend”, as Aria likes to put it. I’m just glad she showed remorse after she did it.

Apparently Mike likes strange girls, because there was a lot of PDA in that one scene with Mona. Please, get a room.  Yeah, so back to Mike and Mona. GROSS. I just… No. Since when does Mona date 10th graders? I have no idea what guidance counsellor Jesse did (I really like him, as of now. Let’s just see what happens.), but it is strange. Are they official now, or are they pulling an Ali/Ezra on us? Or are they going to be FWB?

Hanna’s little encounter at the dentist will make me more scared to go there for the rest of my life. That was freaking creepy. The gas, and the fact that Spencer had to pull A’s clue out of Hanna’s mouth with tweezers in Aria’s living room is probably one of the stranger ways they’ve received a clue. Who has a handy dandy magnifying glass sitting on their table?  There must have been a better way to deliver that message, too. Text, spray paint, carrier pigeon, something. A only gets points for creativity on that one. I’m sad that A decided to shred those records and put them in the bird cage, but the glance at the Cape May map was nice. Wilden’s yacht, huh? That must hold plenty of secrets.

SWITCHED AT BIRTH RECAP: Fountain 3x03

This next sentence is going to sum up Monday’s episode of Switched at Birth: knife, field hockey, movement, jerks, expulsion, and art. That is what happened in a very vague nutshell.

Let’s start with the knife. We’re going to throw it back here a little bit and go to the end of last week’s episode when Emmett figured out that it was Matthew who slashed all the tires and broke those windows. Firstly, I think his reasoning, “deaf pride”, makes no sense. You know that someone is already trying to get rid of those kids, so don’t make it worse by slashing tires. I highly doubt they would assume it was them, and they’d probably end up actually investigating the situation. Then they would find out it was you, you’d get expelled and all your friends would hate you for slashing their tires. It’s also extremely racist of you to assume that those kids would slash tires and vandalize things like that. It was racist of the school to expel Sharee for having a knife in her locker, even though she had a perfectly stable alibi that would have been easy to check. So yeah, that wasn’t good. I honestly thought Daphne and Sharee were starting to be actual friends after everything Daphne went through to get her on the team, and then she reversed her expulsion. Honestly, if Sharee didn’t want Daphne to get her back at the school, then she should have said so instead of letting Daphne drag her to Principal Rose’s office and fight to get her back. Sharee was right about all the things she said after that; about how Carlton is a little racist and that all Daphne cared about was the field hockey game, because it was. Daphne just wanted to get John to be proud of her for once in this very long while, and her primary motive was not getting her friend back but getting John to be proud of her. And so, Sharee doesn’t seem to matter anymore for anything but created drama for Daphne.

Seriously, they need to get their sh*t together.
© Switched at Birth Facebook Page

Field hockey is a lot more dramatic and stressful than I thought it would be. I’ve never played the game and I have no idea how it works, but I don’t think it’s supposed to be that dramatic. Daphne put a lot more on what John thought of her field hockey skills than I thought she would. I get that she wants him to be proud of her, but maybe talking to him about her feelings like she did near the end of the episode would have been a better idea. Making everything about field hockey and his impression of it, and her skills, was not a good idea and put a lot of stress on her and a lot of strain on her relationships with Toby and Sharee. Actually, field hockey in general made Toby stressed out, just because they both landed themselves in detention for fighting in the halls and they had to forfeit. On a little sidenote here, I think Toby has the same feelings about John and field hockey that Daphne does. He wants him to not hate him for once, after everything with the elopement and all that Nikki stuff. That scene that Daphne and John had at the end of the episode was really cute, though. I’m happy that they’ve finally moved past their issue and can actually get along again.

So now we have arrived at the movement. I’m actually super glad that Toby decided he needed to move out, and that he refused to accept his mother’s charity/extravagant efforts to keep him in stone’s throw of the house. If it was available, she probably would have liked him to move into the guest house, and come back to the house for meals and stuff. Basically, he would have just slept there. I’m glad he decided he needed to be fully independent and chose to buy an affordable place for himself in Edgewater than a townhouse his parents were going to pay for in Mission Hills. He’s right, he’s married now and he needs to be totally independent of his parents. Kathryn really needed that reality check John gave her. She was turning into her mother, and we all know how much she would have hated that.

Now we have Regina and her seemingly unnamed restoration friend. There’s some definite romantic chemistry there, and he definitely has a crush on her, even if she doesn’t like him that way, which she definitely doesn’t. I think they’re going to make a good team; her fire combined with his hot head should definitely be interesting. I’m excited to see whether he actually asks her out or not, and what she’ll say if he does. That scene they had on Monday was the best, the one in the design office. Regina’s sass was out of this world and I loved it. I think they’d make a wonderful power couple, you know, if she wasn’t married to Angelo so he didn’t have to be deported. I know she loves him and everything, but does she really want to be married to him, or did she just do it as an act of charity? I don’t know.
Ah, my favorite part: Matthew’s expulsion. He had that coming so bad, and I’m happy it happened. I don’t care that he hates Emmett now, he can just leave. Which he will. He must have known that getting caught and potential consequences was a possible outcome of his little slasher fest. He had what was coming to him, and karma bit him in the ass so bad.

And lastly, the art show. That was definitely interesting to see Bay have to encourage her art teacher to keep making art even though it should be the other way around. She was definitely a little drunk back in that scene, but everything she said was true. For her. She and Bay are totally different people, and things might work out differently for Bay. I’m glad that Bay decided that no one unhappy will decide her happiness, and that’s totally a good philosophy to have. I also enjoyed see the Bay/Tank character relationship development. I definitely think they make awesome friends, but nothing more. I’m still a hardcore Bemmett shipper.
